Guided hikes are being offered for all Marathon Trails for those people who prefer hiking in a group. Check back here for updates to the hiking schedule
Fairfield Glade Friday Hiking Group
The Fairfield Glade Hiking Group under Bob Obohoski’s leadership has kindly arranged their Friday morning hiking schedule to cover all of the marathon trails outside of Fairfield Glade during the month of September.
All these hikes start by meeting in the pavilion at 7:45am at “The Square” near the junction of Peavine Road and Stonehenge Drive in Fairfield Glade. There will be a leader to arrange car pooling to the trail-head and answer any questions. There is no need to register for these hikes. The leader will be there rain or shine.
These hikes are open to everyone. If you do not live in Fairfield Glade and want to meet up at a trailhead instead of at the Peavine 4-way stop, that is OK but you will have to estimate the time that the group will reach the trailhead.

Fairfield Glade Tuesday Hiking Group
The Fairfield Glade Tuesday Hiking Group under Tom Buckley’s leadership has kindly arranged their Tuesday morning hiking schedule to cover all of the marathon trails within Fairfield Glade during the month of September.
All these hikes start by meeting on Tuesday morning at 9:00am at the pavilion at “The Square” near the junction of Peavine Road and Stonehenge Drive in Fairfield Glade.There will be a leader to arrange car pooling to the trail-head and answer any questions. There is no need to register for these hikes. The leader will be there rain or shine.
